Matt Pound, ITTF, moderated Winners' Press Conferences at the #ITTFWTTC2017 in Dusseldorf, Germany. The competitions were very intense and unpredictable till the very end, in therms of who will win the titles. The players put all their efforts for to win. On the Press Conference they gave credits to opponents for plays. Ma Long said that even though he won, the future is for Fan Zhendong. Liu Zhu Yuling of China took the second place in the Women's Singles Championship by losing in the Final match to her compatriot Ding Ning with the match score -- 2:4. Ma Long of China won and defended the Men's Singles Championship title by overplaying Fan Zhendong, of China in 7 games -- 4:3. In Men's Doubles Xu Xin and Fan Zhendong of China overplayed top seeded Masataka Morizono & Yuya Oshima from Japan -- 4:1. Liu Shiven and Ding Ning from China won their champions' title on the ITTF WTTC 2017 in Dusseldorf, Germany by defeating a pair from China Chen Meng and Zhu Yuling in a very close match -- 4:3. In Mixed Doubles competition on this World championship a Japanese pair Maharu Yoshimura and Kasumi Ishikawa won the first Mixed Doubles WTTC Gold medal for their country in 48 years! They made a history in Dusseldorf! Congratulations to the players and their coaches!!! The conference went as a positive conclusion of the best table tennis actions on the court tables.
