Mexico: Gunmen ambush police convoy, killing at least 22

USPA News - A group of gunmen ambushed federal police in western Mexico, killing at least 22 people, local authorities said. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning when a number of unidentified hooded gunmen attacked a convoy in the coastal region of the state of Michoacan, near Pichilinguillo in the municipality of Aquila.
According to Mexico`s Public Security Department, at least 22 were killed, but few details were immediately available. On Tuesday, two police officers were killed while fifteen others were injured in a different attack in the same area by suspected members of organized crime.
