Real Madrid dismisses Ancelotti and opens the door to Rafa Benitez

The announcement will be made next week

USPA NEWS - Real Madrid president Florentino Perez announced Monday the resignation of the Italian Carlo Ancelotti as coach of the first team after two years in office. The lack of titles in the season just ended has rushed over.
Ancelotti's replacement will be, certainly, the Spanish Rafa Benitez, current coach of Napoli. The announcement will be made next week, once finished the season in the Calcio. Benitez comes to start a new era in the Real Madrid club, after a year without titles. The club held a press conference Monday afternoon, in which Florentino Perez announced the cessation of Ancelotti, who thanked the services provided and who said he has enjoyed the affection and respect of the board and players. The truth is that the Italian has the support of the locker room until late and kept hoping to continue the remaining year contract.
But the lack of titles in his second season at the helm, in a league that won its rivals, Barcelona; eliminated from the King's Cup and Champions League, he has precipitated the departure of Ancelotti. Florentino Perez appeared before the media after the meeting of the Board and after communicating the cease-Italian coach. Real Madrid president justified the dismissal "has not been an easy decision," but said that "it's time to give a new impetus to the team to conquer new titles."
"I want to publicly thank Carlo Ancelotti work during these two years. I've been with Carlo before coming here. I can only say it's a man, a gentleman and he understands," said Florentino Perez, who summoned next week to know the name of the new coach week. While declining to reveal his name, even joked with the convenience of the new coach speak Spanish. The yet Milan coach Rafa Benitez is chosen by the president of Real Madrid, but his appointment will not be made official until the end of the Italian League, whose final day Napoli has to be measured at Lazio.
After being given notice of the termination, Ancelotti said on social media that stays "with the memory of two great years at Real Madrid." The Italian coach wanted to thank "the club, the fans and my players" for their support. "Hala Madrid and nothing more," Ancelotti wrote in his Twitter account. Ancelotti won the Champions League with Real Madrid last season, but this year the team was irregular and failed any of the titles that aspired to the start of the competition: League, Cup and Champions League.
