USPA NEWS - The President of the Republic received international solidarity organisations engaged in development issues, with a view to the adoption of sustainable development goals in New York and the Paris Conference on climate.

The President of the Republic received international solidarity organisations engaged in development issues, with a view to the adoption of sustainable development goals in New York and the Paris Conference on climate. The President of the Republic recalled the initiatives taken by France for hosting refugees and the establishment of a permanent and mandatory allocation mechanism in Europe.------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He stressed the humanitarian emergency in the neighbouring countries of Syria and announced a strengthening of the contribution of France to organisations and UN agencies involved in the field. The President of the Republic has also confirmed his willingness to organise an international conference on refugees.  He invited civil society and NGOs to mobilise in view of COP 21 to include that states and private partners enhance funding devolved to the climate.The President of the Republic also confirmed long-term commitments of France for the financing of public health activities, the Global Fund, UNITAID, Gavi. The President of the Republic confirmed the intention of France to lead by example. The reconciliation between Caisse des Dépôts and the French Development Agency will contribute and will increase the capacity of financial assistance of France in loans and donations.
