GREEN FUND FOR CLIMATE COMPRISES 8 APPROVED PROJECTS AMOUNTING TO $ 168 MILLION

THE GREEN FUND WILL ENBALE 8 PROJECTS TO FIGHT GREENHOUSE GASES------------------------------------------ The Green Climate Fund, with $ 10.2 billion, is intended to finance the fight against climate change in developing countries. Less than a year after its capitalisation, adoption of 8 projects will enable action to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and to protect people most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change countries, is a new step to COP21.----------------------------- The Green Fund, principal multilateral instrument to help poor and vulnerable countries on climate issues, has adopted two projects in Africa, three in Asia and the Pacific, three in Latin America and the Caribbean. The Fund is $ 168 million that will be allocated to the fight against climate change. Over 30 projects are under consideration and will be presented at the next board of directors, current 2016.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- France, which contributed to the Green Fund for Climate to the tune of $ 1 million, welcomes this strong signal.
