The President of the Republic received Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Qatar, on Monday November 16.The meeting was attended by Their Excellences members of the official delegation accompanying HE the Prime Minister.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The President of the Republic has informed him of our determination to fight against jihadist terrorism on all fronts - military, political, police and financial - and presented him the measures that have been decided in the wake of Friday's attacks. Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani assured the full support of Qatar and its determination to further strengthen our intense bilateral cooperation in the field of security, which is the purpose of his visit to Paris and his talks with french officials.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The President of the Republic confirmed the commitment of Qatar to the success of the Paris Climate Conference (COP21) at which the Emir of Qatar will participate. During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of cooperation and means to develop them. They also discussed topics of mutual interest. The Qatari Prime Minister Bin Nasser Al Thani, visited also the Arab World Institute, welcomed by President of the Arab Institute Jack Lang and senior officials. He also visited the museum which displays rare manuscripts and antiques from Arab countries.------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Meanwhile, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah in Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani condemned terrorist attacks in Paris, expressing solidarity of the government and people of Qatar with the French government and extended condolences to the families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.------------------------------------------ DURING HIS STAY IN PARIS THE QATARI PRIME MINISTER VISITED THE ARAB WORLD INSTITUTE AND MET SOME FRENCH CEO'S------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah in Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani also met at the embassy top officials of Thales, Vinci, Systra, Cofely Ineo, Egis, Suez Environnement, Engie and Total, before meeting with the French President Francois Hollande. The Qatari Prime Minister talked with his French Counterpart Prime Minister Manuel Valls, about how to develop bilateral relations in various fields and latest regional and international issues of common concern, through cooperation.
