Passenger bus accident kills at least 23 in eastern Pakistan

USPA News - At least 23 people were killed after a passenger bus accident in eastern Pakistan, local media reported said Friday. The accident took place early Saturday morning when the passenger bus lost control, collided with an electricity tower and overturned on the Faisalabad road near Sheikhupura, located in Pakistan`s Punjab province.
According to Geo TV, at least 23 people were killed while 20 others were injured in the incident. The bus was traveling from Lahore to Faisalabad, but the exact number of passengers was not immediately available. Emergency teams rushed to the scene and began pulling out bodies and trapped passengers from the bus. Those injured were transported to the Sheikhupura Civil Hospital.
