Four arrested in anti-terrorist operation developed jointly by Spain and Morocco

USPA NEWS - Agents of the General Information Office of the Spanish National Police and of the DGST Morocco developed Tuesday a police operation against jihadist terrorism in which they were arrested a total of four people.

The arrests took place in the Spanish autonomous city of Ceuta, in the African North coast, where they were arrested three persons of Spanish nationality, and Nador (Morocco), which saw the arrest of a person of Moroccan nationality. The police investigation, starting some weeks ago, has allowed developed neutralizing this "cell" of recruitment, indoctrination and radicalization, whose activity is focused both in recruiting and sending fighters into the ranks of the terrorist organization DAESH.

The cell dismantled Tuesday operated in the Syrian-Iraqi area, where was active as the secondment of followers in Spain and Morocco willing to commission of terrorist acts in any of the two countries on behalf of that organization. In Spain, the operation is being developed under the direction of the holder of the Central Court of Instruction No. 5 of the National Court, under the coordination of the Office of the National Court. The operation is still open, according to the Spanish Ministry of Home Affairs.
