SEGOLENE ROYAL HAS HONOURED EIGHTEEN WOMEN SCIENTISTS ENGAGED IN CLIMATE

USPA NEWS - Monday, March 7, the eve of the international day of women's rights, Segolene Royal has brought together scientists and writers over lunch, to pay homage to their mobilization of every moment in the fight against climate change.

The meeting, which is part of the French presidency of the COP21, was notably attended by women journalists dealing with climate issues, women's ministry and student of the Network of higher education for sustainable development. TRIBUTE TO WOMEN SCIENTISTS AND WRITERS DEVOTED TO EFFECTIVE SOLUTIONS TO THE CLIMATE Here are the women scientists at the heart of effective solutions to the climate were present:----------------------------------------- 1- Pascale Ultre-Guérard: Head of Earth, Environment and climate CNES (CNES) 2- Isabella Annesi-Maesano: Director of research at the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Inserm) 3- Celine Guivarch: Researcher at the International Agency for Research on Environment and Development Centre (CIRED) 4- Nathalie Blanc: Director of Research at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) 5- Irene Xueref-Remy: Physics-Division Assistant Surfaces Continental Atmosphere Ocean (SCOA) of the National Council of astronomers and physicists (CNAP), attached to the Centre of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, 6- Fabienne Casoli: Deputy Director of program management, strategy and international relations at the National Centre for Space Studies (CNES
