Ivory Coast has been hit last Sunday, by a deadly terrorist attack that targeted the resort town of Grand-Bassam. On behalf of France, the President of the Republic has condemned in the strongest terms this heinous and cowardly attack. They reported on the assassination of Grand-Bassam, whose death toll rose because four French victims are now reported. Yesterday, the Ivorian Interior Minister Hamed Bakayoko had counted 33 injured, 26 were still in hospital after the attack. Among the 18 dead also included a German national, director of the Goethe Institute in Abidjan and source familiar with the matter, Lebanon nationals, Burkina Faso and Mali. Three terrorists were also killed. According to RFI- The Ivorian authorities have promised to strengthen security and to advance the investigation at the time.
